Iverson Residence

For this house, a second floor was added to gain expansive views of Lake Washington.  The east side of the second story is almost entirely all windows.  For the seismic bracing of the second story at this ‘window wall’, a unique rigid frame was field-built using 12” wide Steel Strong-Walls and 20” deep glulam beams.
