Second Floor additions often look like a new box stacked on a old box, giving the house a very block-like appearance. To hurtle this common pitfall, the architect designed a stepped roof with long eaves, to creating a new aesthetic that fits well with the increased size of the house. The result is a fresh look that also keeps out the summer heat.
